Names Done Right Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your purchase and use of Names Done Right, an independent baby-naming service ("Names Done Right," "we," "us," "our") currently operated by Amarnath Holdings LLC. By purchasing or using Names Done Right, you agree to these Terms. Please read them — especially Section 4 (what you are buying) and Section 7 (no guarantees), because they describe honestly what Names Done Right does and does not promise.

1. Who we are, and what Names Done Right is

Names Done Right is a guided, data-grounded baby-naming service. You complete an intake questionnaire; we use data-backed checks and AI-assisted synthesis to create a shortlist matched to your stated preferences and family/heritage context; we provide a partner-tiebreaker tool and a crafted digital report; and, if you opt in, we add optional tradition layers (numerology, astrology, Vedic nakshatra, gematria) and a free post-birth nakshatra refinement.

Names Done Right is a personalized digital information service. It is not medical, financial, legal, psychological, or professional advice of any kind, and it is not a substitute for any such advice.

We are a new, independent business. We do not claim an established track record, a large team, or customer reviews we do not have. When you contact us, a real person — the owner or a vetted contractor — responds.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to purchase Names Done Right. Paid orders are currently for U.S. adults only. Printed books ship only to the 50 U.S. states and District of Columbia. Names Done Right is for adults arranging a name for a child.

3. Ordering, pricing, and payment

• Three one-time offers. Choose the $149 Decision Sprint, the $299 Keepsake, or the $597 Heirloom. These are one-time purchases, not subscriptions or recurring charges. Their inclusions are set out in Section 4.
• Payment. Checkout is processed by Stripe. The payment methods available to you are shown at checkout. The published product price is the same regardless of which available payment method you choose; we do not add a card "surcharge."
• Shipping and taxes. Standard trackable U.S. shipping for one book is included in the Keepsake and Heirloom prices. Applicable tax is additional and shown before you pay. No book or shipping is included in the digital-only Decision Sprint. International shipping, extra copies and expedited shipping are not included or automatically charged.
• Checkout authorization. By submitting payment at checkout, you authorize Stripe to charge your selected payment method the one-time price of the offer you selected, plus applicable tax shown before submission. Your payment details are handled by Stripe; we do not store full card or bank numbers (see our Privacy Policy).

4. What you are buying (the deliverable)

This is the most important section, so we state it plainly.

What you receive is a tailored, data-grounded name shortlist and an accompanying digital report delivered electronically (plus any optional tradition layers you selected), produced from your intake with data checks and AI-assisted synthesis.

• The $149 Decision Sprint is a tailored recommendation set — approximately 15–18 names with reasoning, meaning/etymology notes, pronunciation and usage context, practical checks, a private partner tiebreaker, and a written digital report. It does not include a printed book or a live call.
• The $299 Keepsake includes the digital service with a fuller shortlist, the shared Naming Studio with up to ten refinement rounds and the Story of Your Name finale when you choose a name, plus one 48-page, 6 × 9-inch softcover book. Studio refinement rounds are separate from the one included report revision. Studio interaction becomes read-only 60 days after the supplied due date; save your report for long-term use.
• The $597 Heirloom includes the Keepsake digital and Studio benefits with an expanded shortlist, one live 15–30 minute naming call, and one 48-page, 6 × 9-inch hardcover book in place of the softcover, not a second book. The call is a discussion of your paid shortlist and optional traditions, not professional advice or a promise to settle a disagreement.
• Printed edition. We prepare a private, reviewed edition from the report and any finale you choose to include. It is not a dump of your raw questionnaire. You approve the final print text, spelling and mailing address before we submit it to Lulu, our third-party print-on-demand provider. We do not upload raw birth dates, birth times, birth places, private access links or internal notes to the printer. We cannot promise support for every writing system: we check the requested text before printing and will not silently transliterate or substitute unsupported characters. If we cannot produce the agreed edition, we explain the issue and offer the remedies in our Refund Policy.
• The digital report is delivered electronically on a crafted, scheduled "reveal" — by design, Names Done Right is not an instant generator. Printed editions and the included Heirloom call follow the separate process in Section 10. You will be told when to expect delivery.
• The deliverable is NOT a guaranteed outcome. You are not buying a promise that you will love a particular name, that you and your partner will agree, that a name is "the one," that any name will bring any result in your child's life, or that a name is unique or unused by anyone else. Naming is personal and subjective. We promise a thoughtful, honest, well-researched process and a quality work product — not a particular emotional reaction or life result.
• Data checks, AI-assisted. Our process uses research tools and AI assistance (see our methodology page and Privacy Policy), with fixed data and safety checks before delivery. The final selection is shaped by the intake and those checks rather than an open-ended generator prompt.

If the selected offer description and these Terms ever conflict on what is included, the offer description shown at checkout controls for inclusions; these Terms control for everything else. No checkout description removes your non-waivable consumer rights.

5. The free "Name Check" teaser

The free "Name Check", when offered, checks one submitted name against the supported sources. It is a teaser of our analytical style, not a free name generator, and does not include a shortlist, tradition layers, or the paid digital report. The same no-guarantee and not-advice terms in Sections 4 and 7 apply to any free Name Check. If you request an emailed copy, we use that address for the requested message as described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Tradition layers: cultural practice, not advice or prediction

If you opt into any tradition layer — numerology, astrology, Vedic nakshatra, or gematria — you acknowledge and agree that:

• These layers are offered as a respected cultural and traditional practice, presented for personal meaning, heritage connection, and reflection.
• They are not science, not fortune-telling, not a prediction of the future, and not a guarantee of luck, fortune, health, wealth, character, or any outcome for your child or family.
• They do not constitute medical, psychological, financial, legal, or professional advice, and must not be relied on as such.
• A disclaimer to this effect appears at every tradition touchpoint, and your use of these optional layers is voluntary and opt-in.

You choose these layers because you find meaning in the tradition — not because we represent them as factual predictors. If that distinction matters to you, please simply decline the tradition layers; the core naming service does not require them.

7. No guarantees; honest limitations

To be transparent about what a naming service can and cannot do:

• We do not guarantee that any name we suggest is unregistered, unused, available as a domain or social handle, free of any trademark, or unique. You are responsible for any such checks if they matter to you.
• We do not guarantee that names suit every language, dialect, culture, or family member's taste.
• We do not guarantee specific feelings, agreement between partners, or any real-world result.
• Meaning, etymology, and popularity information is drawn from reputable sources and curated with care, but sources can differ and we do not warrant it is exhaustive or error-free.
• We are a new business and provide the service "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

What we do stand behind is the quality of our process and work product — backed by our Refund Policy (one free revision; full refund if undelivered or off-brief; a 14-day satisfaction window).

8. Your responsibilities and the accuracy of what you provide

• You agree to provide accurate intake information. The quality of our output depends on it. We are not responsible for a shortlist that misses the mark because key preferences, constraints, or family context were not shared.
• You agree to use Names Done Right for a lawful, personal purpose.
• You agree not to misuse the service (e.g., automated scraping, reselling our reports as your own commercial product, attempting to disrupt the site, or submitting another person's sensitive data without their consent).

9. Intellectual property and your license to use the deliverable

• Our materials. The Names Done Right brand, website, questionnaire design, methodology, report templates, and written explanations are made available by Bharath Ramanidharan and protected to the extent applicable by intellectual-property laws.
• Names themselves are not owned. To be clear: individual names are not, and cannot be, owned by anyone — including us. We make no claim to the names we suggest.
• Your license. Upon full payment, you receive a personal, non-exclusive, perpetual license to use your digital report and shortlist for your own personal, family use — including naming your child, saving or printing your own copy, and sharing it with family and friends. You may obviously name your child anything you wish, with or without our suggestions, with no further obligation to us.
• What you may not do. You may not resell, redistribute commercially, or pass off our report content, templates, or written analysis as a competing product or service. This restricts our creative work product, not your freedom to use any name.
• Feedback. If you send us suggestions, we may use them to improve Names Done Right without obligation to you.

10. Delivery and scheduling

Every tier includes a report delivered electronically via a crafted, scheduled reveal, not instantly. We show the planned reveal time after your completed intake. Digital delivery does not mean a printed book or included call has been completed.

For Keepsake and Heirloom, our operator prepares the print edition and emails you for explicit content and address approval. Printing is not dispatched automatically when you pay. Standard trackable shipping to the 50 U.S. states and District of Columbia is included. We send shipment tracking and the current estimate; printer production and carrier estimates are not guaranteed arrival dates. If we cannot ship within 30 calendar days of receiving a completed order with the information needed to fulfill it, or within an earlier shipment time we agreed, we seek your affirmative consent to a revised shipment date or cancel and promptly refund the order. We do not treat silence as approval of a print proof or shipment delay. A requested proof approval is not permission for us to delay indefinitely.

For Heirloom, our operator verifies the paid order and coordinates a mutually agreed time for the included 15–30 minute call by email. There is no public booking link for unpaid calls. If a time needs changing, contact us; no additional call or rescheduling fee is imposed without your agreement. If we cannot provide the included call, our non-delivery remedy applies.

Our operator monitors printing, shipping, call completion and any exceptions. Contact [email protected] for delayed, missing, damaged or incorrect deliveries; you do not have to resolve a supplier problem yourself. See our Refund Policy for the complete-order 14-day window and remedies.

11. Refunds, revisions, and satisfaction

Your refund and revision rights are governed by our Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and shown before checkout. In summary: one free revision, a full refund if we fail to deliver or deliver materially off-brief, and 14-day satisfaction protection under the published policy. That protection is not an automatic or unconditional refund; the Refund Policy controls the details and preserves any non-waivable rights you have under applicable law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Amarnath Holdings LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decision you make based on our suggestions (including the name you ultimately choose). Our total liability for any claim relating to Names Done Right will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the order giving rise to the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you; nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

13. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Amarnath Holdings LLC from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your submission of another person's data without authorization.

14. Privacy

Your use of Names Done Right is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect (including, only if you opt in, parents' and child's birth date/time/place and family/heritage details), why, how long we keep it, and your rights to access and deletion.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, take reasonable steps to notify customers. The Terms in effect at the time of your purchase govern that purchase.

16. Termination

We may decline or cancel an order and refund it if we cannot serve a request honestly or lawfully. You may stop using the service at any time; your license to your delivered report survives per Section 9.

17. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which the operator operates, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. We would much rather resolve any issue directly and fairly — please contact us first and give us a real chance to make it right before any formal dispute.
